GUIDELINES
I.
The IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK is part of IMADEC University.
The IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK aims at fostering, both in the international format and the relationships to the business world, the standing of IMADEC University as a Center of Excellency in research and education.
II.
All graduates from IMADEC University are alumni.
Membership activities within the IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK may be exercised upon payment of a donation to IMADEC University, dedicated for purposes of the Alumni Network.
Graduates of the years 1995-2003 may grant these donations at any time.
III.
Members of the IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK agree to the principles of
• Life long learning
• Fidelity to IMADEC University
• Support by best efforts of the goals of the IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK
IV.
Financial means for the IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK will be provided by IMADEC University on the basis of donations received from alumni and third parties for the pursuit of the IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK´s goals.
These financial means will be deposited on a special university account with joint access by IMADEC staff and Alumni Board representatives.
V.
Activities by the IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK are coordinated by the Board.
The Board consists of up to 15 members, among those the chairman as the Head of the Board, the deputy chairman, the past chairman, and the secretary general. The current Board members can be found under http://www.imadec.ac.at/alumni2.html
The Board´s term is two years. Board members may be prolonged for another term. Prolongations are decided upon by the members of that Board, whose term is expiring.
The Board acts on the principle of dual control. The Board gives itself rules governing its activities. It takes its decisions by a majority of two thirds.
VI.
The Board of IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK may bestow the honor of an “Honorary Member” to distinguished personalities for their support of the efforts of the network.
VII.
The IMADEC ALUMNI NETWORK reserves the right to expel alumni who have grossly violated the principles of the network or who have grossly acted against the interests of IMADEC University.
